How to Navigate Virtual Interviews

Advising UP is a guide primarily for those who are new to advising students and medical school deans.

ASC-EM offers a living Advisor Consult Service designed to address specific advising questions. This service supports advisors, such as deans, clerkship directors, and faculty, by providing guidance on difficult questions related to individual student advising, non-traditional applicants, and general advising concerns. Please note, this service is exclusively for advisors and not accessible to students. All consultations are confidential. We encourage you to reach out—our team is here to support you.

What to expect for the 2025-2026 application year?

  1. Support and guidance related to transition in residency application platform from MyERAS to ResidencyCas, as well as potential changes in residency training requirements for emergency medicine.
  2. Updated ASC-EM guides to reflect changes in the EM application and training landscape.
  3. Scholarly work to help support ASC-EM recommendations.
